Are treatments sore?

Pain is person dependent. We do apply topical numbing cream where applicable to aid comfort. Most people are very surprised as so how comfortable treatments actually are!

What should I expect at an appointment?

First, we assess to make sure treatment is suitable for you. We then make a plan together - sometimes one session is all that is needed for your concern to be reduced or removed. Other times, more than one session will be required. If this is the case, I will let you know this before we carry out your first treatment.

How do you ensure safety?

All treatments are carried out in a Healthcare Improvement Scotland Clinic following strict clinical standards. I only use products that are CE marked, researched and sourced from a UK pharmacy. I am also a registered nurse prescriber and hold an Advanced Life Support qualification. I always keep up to date with regular courses to ensure your safety and my knowledge in clinical/ medical emergencies.
